To access the device menu, enter the admin passcode, and tap the Device option from the main menu.
The Device ID will be displayed among the options available from the Device Menu.
Software Update
1. Tap the Software Update option. There may be a notification that an update is available.
- The device will check for available updates.
2. If an update is available, tap the Update Now button.
- The device will display a message that the update is being downloaded.
- The device will then display a message that the update is being installed.
- If unsuccessful, the device will display the following error message.
- Verify the device has a stable network connection and tap the Try Again button or tap the Update Later button and try again when the device is connected to a stable internet connection.
- If successful, the device will display a confirmation message.
3. Tap the Done button when finished.
Time Settings
Tap on the Time option to access the time settings.
- The options available from the time settings will be displayed.
Time Zone
1. Tap the Time Zone option.
2. Select the time zone where the device will be installed.
3. Tap the Save button when done.
Time Format
1. Tap the Time Format option.
2. Select your preferred time format option.
3. Tap the Save button when done.
Date Format
1. Tap the Date Format option.
2. Select your preferred date format.
3. Tap the Save button when done.
Sound Settings
Tap on the Sound option to access the sound settings.
- The options available from the sound settings will be displayed.
Key Sounds
1. Tap on the toggle switch to enable/disable key sounds.
Volume Level
1. Tap on the Volume Level option.
2. Use the slider to select your preferred volume level.
3. Tap the Save button when done.
Timeclock Voice
1. Tap the Timeclock Voice option.
2. Select your preferred voice option.
3. Tap the Save button when done.
Display Settings
Tap on the Display option to access the display settings.
- The options available from the display settings will be displayed.
Brightness Level
1. Tap on the Brightness Level option.
2. Use the slider to select your preferred brightness level.
3. Tap the Save button when done.
Sleep Mode
1. Tap the Sleep Mode option.
2. Select your preferred sleep mode timer.
3. Tap the Save button when done.
Change Admin Passcode
1. Tap the Change Admin Passcode option.
- The device will prompt you to enter the current admin passcode for the device.
2. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the current passcode. Tap the icon in the lower right corner to hide the keyboard when you are done.
3. Tap the Next button to continue.
- If the passcode entered is not correct, the device will display the following error message.
- Confirm the passcode and try again.
- If the password is correct, the device will prompt you to create a new admin passcode.
4. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the new passcode. Tap the icon in the lower right corner to hide the keyboard when you are done.
- If the passcode has been previously used, the device will display the following error message.
- Choose a different passcode and try again.
- If the passcode entered is 53178, the device will display the following error message.
- Choose a different passcode and try again.
5. After entering an acceptable passcode, tap the Next button to proceed.
- The device will prompt you to confirm the new passcode by re-entering it.
6. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the new passcode again. Tap the icon in the lower right corner to hide the keyboard when you are done.
- If the passcode entered does not match, the device will display the following error message.
- Confirm the passcode and try again.
7. After successfully re-entering the new passcode, tap the Save button.
- If successful, the device will display a confirmation message.
8. Tap the Done button when finished.
Upload Database
1. Tap the Upload Database option.
2. Tap the Confirm button to upload the database.
- If unsuccessful, the device will display the following error message.
- Verify the device has a stable network connection and tap the Try Again button or tap the back button and try again when the device is connected to a stable internet connection.
- If successful, the device will display a confirmation message.
3. Tap the OK button when finished.
