• To access the employee menu, enter the admin passcode, and tap the Employee option from the main menu.

  • Face templates created on a DR series timeclock will not transfer to any other models.

  • If the timeclock is offline when a face template is registered, it will not be available on any other devices.

Filter and Search

1. From the employee list, tap the filter icon near the upper right corner.

2. Toggle the filter to display a list of only those employees without a registered face template.


3.  Tap the Apply button to confirm your selection.

4. Tap the Search icon near the upper left corner.

5. Type the name of the desired employee.

  • If no employees match your search, they may still need to be added to the account in the cloud portal.  If you have confirmed they are in the portal with active status, try the sync data function.

6. Tap the name of the desired employee from the search results to select them.

Register a Face Template

1. Select an employee from the list without a registered template.

  • If the camera is unable to open, reboot the device, and try again.

2. Have the employee stand in front of the camera and follow the on-screen prompts to adjust their position in the frame.

  • If unable to recognize your face, the device will display one of the following messages.
  • Address the issue and try again or use a different method for authentication.

    • Face is already registered 
    • Replace or Delete the existing face template.

    • Unable to scan successfully
    • Follow the on-screen prompt and try again.

 

  • If successful, the device will display a Face Captured message.

3.  Test the new face template to verify functionality.

  • If unable to recognize your face, the device will display the following message.
  • Re-register the template or try the test again.

Delete a Face Template

1. Select an employee from the list with a registered template.

2. Select the Delete option.

3. Tap the Yes button to confirm your request to delete the selected face template.

  • The device will display a confirmation message that the face template has been deleted.

Replace a Face Template

1. Select an employee from the list with a registered template.

2. Select the Replace option.

3. Tap the Yes button to confirm your request to replace the selected face template.
