An employee must be assigned a Face ID from the Employee menu before they may authenticate at a timeclock using facial recognition.  Click to view the article on setting an employee up with face recognition.


1. Stand in front of the timeclock and follow the prompts to adjust your position in the frame.

  • If unable to recognize your face, the device will display one of the following messages.
    • Address the issue and try again or use a different method for authentication.



  • The device should recognize your face and display the appropriate punch options (depending on the current punch status and enabled features).
