To set up email notifications for a shift allocation, follow these steps:

1.  Click the Settings tab on the main menu.

2.  Click the Shifts link.

3.  Select the shift from the list and click on the Name Link.

4.  Select the Alarms tab

  • Early In—This field will send an email when an employee has arrived earlier than anticipated for their shift
  • Late InThis field will send an email when an employee has arrived later than anticipated for their shift
  • Early OutThis field will send an email when an employee has left earlier than anticipated for their shift
  • Late OutThis field will send an email when an employee has left later than anticipated for their shift.
  • Missing Break Clocking—A notification will be sent if an employee is expected to take a break during an allotted time period and fails to do so. 
  • Missing Lunch Clocking—A notification will be sent if an employee is expected to clock on and off for a lunch break and fails to do so.



5.  Set the Threshold for the Notification, (you can choose anywhere from 1 to 60 mins for each notification) and enter the email address(es) that you you would like the notification to be sent to (you can enter multiple email addresses).

6.  Tick the Enabled checkbox if you would like to trigger a notification for Missing Break or Missing Lunch clocking and the email address(es) that you would like the notification to be sent to.

7.  When you are finished with each setting, click Save and Close.
