One way to clock in to the uAttend system is using a timeclock.
- If your employees are using a timeclock with a fingerprint sensor, the administrator must first register each employee's fingerprints using the steps in Setting Up Users for Fingerprint Clocking.
To clock in/out using a fingerprint, the employee will place their finger on the fingerprint sensor and wait for the timeclock to read the fingerprint. The audio on the timeclock will say "Thank you," indicating that the fingerprint has been successfully read. - If your employees are using a timeclock with a facial recognition sensor, the administrator must first register each employee's facial recognition template using the steps in Setting Up Users for Facial Recognition Clocking.
To clock in/out using facial recognition, the employee will look into the timeclock screen. When the timeclock detects motion, the screen will change to display a countdown, which indicates that facial recognition is about to initiate. The timeclock will say "Thank you," indicating that the facial recognition template has been successfully read.
- If your employees are using a timeclock with an RFID card sensor, the administrator must first assign a badge number to each employee using the steps in Setting Up Users for Proximity Card / Tag Clocking.
To clock in/out using an RFID card, the employee will swipe their card in front of the card sensor and wait for the timeclock to read the card. The audio on the timeclock will either beep or say "Thank you," indicating that the card has been successfully read.
- If your employees are using a PIN to clock in to a timeclock, the administrator must first assign a PIN to each employee. See Setting Up Users for Pin Code Clocking.
To clock in/out using a PIN, the employee will enter their 4-digit PIN on the timeclock's keypad and press OK.
